ENHANCED IMPACT STRENGTH

Impact strength(or toughness) is one of the most important mechanical properties of 3d printer filament. The definition from Wikipedia: "In materials science and metallurgy, toughness is the ability of a material to absorb energy and plastically deform without fracturing. One definition of material toughness is the amount of energy per unit volume that a material can absorb before rupturing. It is also defined as a material's resistance to fracture when stressed."

  POST-PRINTING PROCESSIBILITY

For some applications, post-printing processability is very important. Some plastic materials such as ABS is very easy to be sand, polished, and painted to get good finishing. For some other materials, a modification process may be required to meet the requirement.

  SUPPORT HIGH-SPEED PRINTING

In order to support high-speed printing, high melt flow index is the basic requirement of the material. The melt flow of a specific material can also be increased through material modification technologies.
